Aksa is a coastal place located on the western shores of India in the Mumbai suburban region of Maharashtra. It is known for its calm and clean surroundings, a popular weekend getaway for tourists and visitors in and around Mumbai.

History :
Aksa is known for its unblemished beautiful beach. Locals, as well as, tourists visit this place, being an adored tourist place. The best thing about the beach is that it is untouched by urbanization and has kept its natural charm intact. It is a picturesque place; it also has the base of the Indian Navy - INS Hamla.
Geography :
It is in the western coastal region of Maharashtra in between Manori creek and Malad creek on the Arabian sea. It is located 28.6 KM to the northwest of Mumbai city.
Weather/Climate :
The prominent weather in the region is rainfall, the Konkan belt experiences High Rainfall (ranges around 2500 mm to 4500 mm), and the climate remains Humid and warm. The temperature reaches up to 30 degrees Celsius during this season.
Summers are hot and humid, and the temperature touches 40 degrees Celsius.
Winters in the region are comparatively milder climate (around 28 degrees Celsius), and the weather remains Cool and Dry

Aksa Beach is a tranquil location away from the buzzing city of Mumbai. The calmness of Aksa Beach makes it a perfect place to spend some time in solitude or with your group. One can walk on the shore, listen to the harmonious waves and sunbathe at Aksa Beach. Due to the uneven depth of the sea, swimming is strictly prohibited here.

Visiting Rule and Time, Best month to visit :
The place is accessible throughout the year but the best time to visit is, from October to March. The sea is very rough during monsoon and gets very risky with its unpredictable behaviour. Tourists are advised to check the timings of high as well as low tides before entering the sea. High tides during the monsoon season could be dangerous hence these occasions shall be avoided.Swimming is prohibited at this place.
