নাভেগাঁও জাতীয় উদ্যান ভারতের মহারাষ্ট্রের গোন্ডিয়া জেলার অর্জুনি মোরগাঁও উপবিভাগে অবস্থিত। ডাঃ. সালিম আলি পাখি অভয়ারণ্য, নাভেগাওনে সমগ্র মহারাষ্ট্রে পাওয়া পাখির প্রজাতির প্রায় ৬০% বাস করে। শীতকালে এখানে অনেক পরিযায়ী পাখি দেখা যায়। হ্রদের পাশে চুপচাপ দাঁড়িয়ে দেখুন যখন একটি মাছ খাওয়া পাখি হঠাৎ একটি অসতর্ক মাছ ছিনিয়ে নিতে ডুব দেয়। প্রাণীটি চিতাবাঘ, বাঘ, প্যান্থার, স্লথ ভালুক, মাছ ধরার বিড়াল, চার শিং যুক্ত অ্যান্টিলোপ, সাম্বার, নীলগাই, পাইথন, মটরপাখি এবং পরিযায়ী পাখি নিয়ে গঠিত। এই অভয়ারণ্যবিভিন্ন বাণিজ্যিক, ঔষধি, সুগন্ধি, শোভাময় উদ্ভিদ প্রজাতির একটি জীবন্ত ভাণ্ডার হিসাবে কাজ করে। এর মধ্যে রয়েছে সেগুন, হলদি, জামুন, কাওয়াত, মহুয়া, আইন, ভেল এবং ভোর।
ভূগোল
জাতীয় উদ্যানটি গোন্ডিয়া জেলার দক্ষিণ অংশে অবস্থিত। এটি মহারাষ্ট্র রাজ্যের পূর্ব অংশে অবস্থিত এবং ১৩৩.৭৮ Sq.KM এলাকা গঠন করে। পার্শ্ববর্তী এলাকাটি ডঃ সালিম আলি পাখি অভয়ারণ্য নামে পরিচিত। পার্কটি বিভিন্ন ভূখণ্ড প্রদর্শন করে। শিলাগুলির মধ্যে রয়েছে সাকলি এবং সসার সিরিজের ক্লোরিট, স্লেট এবং ফিলিট। এছাড়াও উচ্চতা পরিসীমা একটি বিশাল পার্থক্য আছে, ৩০ মিটার থেকে শুরু এবং প্রায় ৭০০ মিটার শেষ - পার্কের শিখর।
আবহাওয়া/জলবায়ু
জাতীয় উদ্যানে শুষ্ক মিশ্র বন থেকে শুরু করে আর্দ্র বন পর্যন্ত বিভিন্ন ধরণের গাছপালা রয়েছে। নাভেগাওনে মাঝারি জলবায়ু রয়েছে।
যা করতে হবে
পাখি দেখা, জিপ সাফারি, নৌকা যাত্রা, দেখা দৃশ্য, গাছের উপরের বাড়িতে বাস করা।
নিকটতম পর্যটন স্থান
নাগজিরা বন্যপ্রাণী অভয়ারণ্য (৬০ কিমি), ইটিয়াদোহ বাঁধ (২০ কিমি), গোথাঙ্গাওনে তিব্বতী শিবির (১৫ কিলোমিটার) এবং প্রতাপগড় (১৫ কিমি)

সড়ক পথে :
1. গন্ডিয়া থেকে নাভেগাঁও জাতীয় উদ্যানের মধ্যে দূরত্ব ৬৫ কিমি।
২. ভান্ডারা থেকে নাভেগাঁও জাতীয় উদ্যানের দূরত্ব ৮০ কিলোমিটার।
3. নাগপুর থেকে নাভেগাঁও জাতীয় উদ্যানের মধ্যে দূরত্ব ১৪২ কিমি।
ট্রেন দ্বারা:
১. দেউলগাঁও নাভেগাঁও জাতীয় উদ্যান থেকে ২ কিলোমিটার দূরে। এটি চন্দ্রপুর-গোন্ডিয়া রেললাইন এবং গোন্ডিয়া রেল স্টেশনে চলাচলকারী ট্রেনগুলির মধ্যে একটি।
বাই এয়ার:
1. নাগপুর, যা নাভেগাঁও জাতীয় উদ্যান থেকে ১৪২ কিলোমিটার দূরে।
বিশেষ খাবারের বিশেষত্ব এবং হোটেল
অভয়ারণ্যের এলাকার বাইরে হোটেল এবং রেস্তোঁরা রয়েছে যেখানে তারা ভেজ এবং নন-ভেজ খাবার পরিবেশন করে। মিঠা পানির মাছের খাবার একটি বিশেষত্ব।

অভয়ারণ্যের আশেপাশে, বেশ কয়েকটি হোটেল এবং রিসোর্ট পাওয়া যায়।
পরিদর্শন করার নিয়ম এবং সময়, দেখার জন্য সেরা মাস
অক্টোবর থেকে জুন উষ্ণ বা গরম তাপমাত্রার সাথে দেখার সেরা সময় এবং মাঝারি বৃষ্টিপাত পর্যন্ত কোনওটিই নয়। মে মাসে নাভেগাওনের সর্বোচ্চ গড় তাপমাত্রা ৪১°সেন্টি, এবং জানুয়ারিতে সর্বনিম্ন ২৯° সেন্টিগ্রেড। পার্কটি প্রতিদিন সকাল ৬:০০ টা থেকে সন্ধ্যা ৬:০০ টা পর্যন্ত খোলা থাকে, এবং শুক্রবার এবং ১৬ ই জুন থেকে ৩০ সেপ্টেম্বরের মধ্যে বন্ধ থাকে। পার্কটি হোলি এবং বুদ্ধ পূর্ণিমাতেও বন্ধ রয়েছে (প্রথম এবং দ্বিতীয় দিন কেবল)

Fishing
There is an interesting legend about Navegaon Lake. It is said to have been built by one Kolu Patel Koli at the beginning of the eighteenth century. He is now called Kolasur Dev and his shrine is on one of the peaks surrounding the lake. The peaks are known as ‘sat bahini’ or the ‘seven sisters’. The belief is that these deities helped Kolu in building the lake. On the fringe of the lake is an idol of Hanuman, the goddess of strength, whose feet are said to go below the embanKMent.
Bird
They thus started the process of building innumerable water bodies and lakes all around. What we see today is a Gondia district that can easily be called the lake district of India. All these lakes today are excellent habitats for migratory and resident water birds. Many also support diverse animal life too. In fact the lakes of Gondia district are also the home to a strong population of the elegant saras crane, the largest member of the crane family.
