Mumbai Matheran Day 2

After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Matheran .
Matheran by train can be a beautiful journey as the nearest railhead is at Neral and from here one can choose to take the toy train that takes around 2 hours to reach the hill station

Matheran is a hill station, near Mumbai. It’s known for its mild climate and well-preserved colonial architecture. Motor vehicles are banned in this picturesque quaint hilly town. The Panorama Point lookout offers views across the mountains of the Western Ghats. Louisa Point has views of waterfalls and the ancient Prabal Fort.

Matheran – Pune A distance of 120 kms, Pune is the cultural capital of Maharashtra. Pune is famous for sights as below Day 04

•    Aga Khan Palace. The Aga Khan Palace is a testament to the architectural wonders of a bygone era. Built in 1892 and now a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, whose ashes are preserved in the garden
•    Shaniwar Wada.    Shaniwar Wada in Pune is a historical palace and fort that chronicles the
glory and grandeur of the Maratha Empire. This old mansion boasts of a history of 287 years and was the seat of the Peshwas, who were the Prime Ministers to the Maratha rulers. It served as a melting pot of culture and politics until the Peshwas lost the Wada to the British in 1818.
•    Sinhagad Fort.    Sinhagad is the pride of the southwestern region of Pune. This fort was the one to
support Maharashtra during the ancient battles.
•    Chaturshringi Temple    One of the revered temples of Pune, the Chaturshringi Temple is a must
visit when you’re in Pune. The word “Chaturshringi” is derived from the word “Chattu” which means “Mountain with four peaks” and represents faith and power. The main temple also includes idols of Goddess Durga, Ashtavinayaka and Ganesha.
•    Pataleshwar: A very ancient 8th-century Pataleshwar Cave Temple is dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva This evening enjoy an authentic Maharashtrian meal in Pune

: Flight from Pune to Nagpur Nagpur – Tadoba National Park (140 Kms. 3 ½ hour drive) Day 05

On arrival at Nagpur airport, our representative will meet and transfer you to Tadoba. Located in Chandrapur district , Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve is the oldest and largest national park in the state of Maharashtra. Tadoba National park contains some of the best of forest tracks and endowed with rich biodiversity. It is famous for its natural heritage. Tadoba is an infinite treasure trove of innumerable species of trees and plants - and wildlife that includes Tigers, Panthers, Sloth Bears, Hyenas, Jackals, Wild Dogs, Bison, Barking Deer, Nil Gai, Sambar, and Cheatal.
Upon reaching, check into the wildlife resort. Later, fresh-n-up and enjoy a scrumptious lunch. Thereafter, in the evening you are free to take pleasure in a nature walk, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in the resort.

Tadoba National Park Day 06

Early in the morning the jeep will pick you up from the resort for the jungle safari. It is the best time to sight various birds stretching their wings high in the sky. Besides the birds, various other wild animals will be waiting to greet you. After the jungle safari return to the resort for breakfast. Enjoy the breakfast, then lunch and then again head off for an evening jeep safari into the national park. In the evening you have more chances of sighting tigers.
Return to the resort before it gets too dark. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the resort.
Known for its rich biodiversity, the Tadoba National Park is nothing less than a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts. Owing to the presence of the big cats, the park was announced as the
41st Tiger Reserve of India. Along with the tigers, the park provides a home to the Wild Boar, Leopard, Spotted Deer, Rusty Spotted Cat, Indian Mouse Deer, Sambar, Gaur, Sloth Beer, Four Horned Antelope, Flying Squirrel and so on.

We will be continuing with our wildlife adventure to Tadoba national park today. For the same we will enter the national park twice for the morning and afternoon jungle safaris. Overnight stay in Tadoba at your pre arranged resort

After a sumptuous breakfast leave for Nagpur. Upon reaching Nagpur transfer to the airport for Mumbai and your onward connection.
