Left Nashik early in the morning @ 06:00AM. Reach to Lenyadri Caves by 08:00AM. Here you can visit one of the Ashtavinayak temple. Then after visit the first fort of Maratha Empire i.e. Shivneri. Shivneri Fort is birthplace of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj & situated near Junnar town in the district of Pune, about 105km from Pune. Later in the afternoon proceed towards Welhe (170km). - Shivneri Fort

In the morning left the hotel and proceed to Torna Fort - It is historically significant because it was the first fort captured by Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in 1646 at the age of 16, forming the nucleus of the Maratha empire. The fort was the capital of the Maratha Empire under the rule of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj for almost 26 years, after which the capital was moved to the Raigad Fort. Early in the morning by 07:00AM check-out from the hotel and proceed towards Purandar Fort (70km). Purandar Fort is known as the birthplace of Sambhaji, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. At this place Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj signed a treaty known as the First Treaty of Purandar with Aurangzeb in 1665. In the afternoon move towards Sinhgad Fort (50km). One of the most famous battles on Sinhgad was fought by Tanaji Malusare in order to recapture the fort on March 1670, In this battle upon hearing of Tanaji's death, Chhatrapati Shivaji expressed his remorse with the words, "Gad aala, pan Sinha gela" - "The Fort is conquered, but the Lion was lost". - Purandar Fort
