‘Sustainable Tourism’ or ‘tourism in the green economy’ has been defined as tourism activities that can be maintained indefinitely in the environmental, social, economic and cultural contexts.

Sustainable Tourism is an initiative to turn a traveler into a responsible tourist. This initiative urges the tourists to step out of their comfort zones and behave considerately while travelling. It reminds the traveler that their vacation destination is someone’s home.

With Maharashtra being the premier global product and the award-winning promotion campaign “Maharashtra… Unlimited” the potential of this destination has been unleashed with a solid boost.
